CAN CHILDREN ATTEND?
Family-friendly performances suitable for ages 4-12 are available on select Sunday & Public Holiday lunchtimes, subject to availability.
Evening performances of Le Petit Chef shows are intended for an adult audience of at least 12 years of age and older – on occasion special requests can be accommodated.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and remain seated and well-behaved at all times throughout the show – they remain the responsibility of their accompanying parent or guardian.
A full-priced ticket irrespective of age category, is required to enter the show – all seats are priced the same.
Only guests of 18 years and older will be allowed the consumption of alcohol.
Babies in prams / arms cannot be admitted.
HOW DOES THE SEATING WORK?
Unless you have booked a “private table” (8 | 12 or 16), then you will be sat on shared tables, so expect to share the dining experience with others. Besides the fact that we do this for maximum projection impact, Le Petit Chef’s show philosophy is to “arrive as strangers and leave as friends”.
If you are attending with friends and would like to be seated together, we advise purchasing your tickets in the same name. If you have booked separately from other friends under different surnames and wish to sit together, please email the full booking details of all parties to info@DinnerTimeStories.co.za at least 1 week in advance, so that we can make a note for the seating plan.
Our tables are large enough to accommodate groups of 8, 12 and 16 with a maximum of 60 guests per show. Due to this, we cannot always accommodate larger groups who may wish to be seated together, however, the tables are close enough to one another so that all guests will feel part of the same group.
Please contact us at info@DinnerTimeStories.co.za if you would like to book a group of more than 16.
Kindly note that seating is allocated in advance; we cannot accommodate groups sitting together on the night without prior warning.
HOW DO I BOOK ONLINE FOR LARGE GROUPS?
Purchase the tickets according to the offering on Computicket, and add the tickets available to your basket. You will prompted to add additional tickets prior to check-out. In this way, you can purchase as many tickets as you like.
Please contact us at info@DinnerTimeStories.co.za if you would like to book a group of more than 16.
Exclusive Productions are available at an additional fee.
HOW DO I PURCHASE UNEVEN TICKET NUMBERS?
We do not sell uneven ticket numbers – Le Petit Chef suggests inviting family and friends to join the fun.
Although not often, on occasion we may have more than one request for an uneven ticket purchase – in this case, we will try to assist by partnering the bookings – this cannot be guaranteed.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE SHOW?
Guests are requested to arrive 45 minutes prior to seating – it is necessary to pass through a check-in process and be allocated their seats.
Seating begins 15 minutes prior to when the show starts.
No late entries after the show start will be allowed
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Smart-casual and comfortable.
Le Petit Chef loves to see you ‘dress to impress’ – why not consider French-inspired styling?
IS ANYTHING SPECIAL DONE FOR BIRTHDAYS | ANNIVERSARIES | CELEBRATIONS?
There is no better way to celebrate!
Le Petit Chef loves celebrations – kindly inform our check-in staff on arrival at the show and we will be sure to get “our little man to make a plan”.
HOW DO I ADVISE OF SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Le Petit Chef does not limit his experience due to any dietary requirements and can accommodate most mainline requests. He cannot serve individual meals with specific individual taste requirements – however, most meals are cleverly presented, to allow the guest to pick and choose accordingly without it affecting their overall dining experience.
There is no need to forward your dietary requirements prior to the show.
This detail is established at the time of check-in by our arrival staff and the meals will be delivered as requested, once seated.
Kindly note our Allergens Policy : https://dinnertimestories.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/A3-FOOD-ALLERGEN-Poster.pdf
IS THE MENU HALAAL | KOSHER | HINDU FRIENDLY?
Le Petit Chef’s menu is Halaal | Kosher | Hindu friendly, however, due to the presentation it is not wrapped and sealed. The menu never includes pork (or pork-related products – gelatine), there are no alcoholic ingredients and all meats are purchased and supplied by a Halaal-certified butchery – certificate available on request.
An alternative to beef is always available if it is served at all.
We do offer menu course alternatives of fish and | or vegetarian options.
HOW CAN I PURCHASE THE WINE PAIRING UPGRADE?
Tickets to include wine pairing are optional and can be purchased as an upgrade on either Computicket or on arrival at the show.
Should the Computicket option be sold out, the option to upgrade to include the wine pairing can be purchased on arrival when checking in for the show.
We have a full cash bar.
IS PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED?
Yes, but we do request no flash | light on photography. We also ask that you do not share long recorded content of the show that may ruin the surprise for other guests. We reserve the right to ask guests to refrain from filming and photography if it is disruptive to other guests. Don’t forget to tag us when posting – Le Petit Chef loves seeing how you have captured your experience #DinnerTimeStoriesSA | #LePetitChefSA
CAN I PURCHASE A GIFT VOUCHER?
Yes, we believe our tickets make for fabulous presents.
Kindly contact info@DinnerTimeStories.co.za in order to arrange the details, as well as the payment instructions. Once you have purchase confirmation, we will forward the activated voucher for use at any one of our advertised show dates (subject to availability). WHEN IS LE PETIT CHEF COMING TO MY REGION?
Le Petit Chef never reveals his travel plans – he does, however, plan to visit and possibly revisit many worldwide destinations. Le Petit Chef never stays in one place for long. To avoid disappointment, we suggest that you take advantage of show availability and BOOK NOW! Follow us on our social media platforms and sign up to our mailing list to find out more info and hear all of Le Petit Chef’s news first-hand.
SHOULD I TIP MY WAITERS?
Le Petit Chef loves to wine and dine, but without his incredible cast he would not be able to shine!
Gratuity is certainly NOT mandatory – it is totally at the mercy of the guest’s discretion.
Due to the fact that our staff work on the event ‘mise en plus’ for at least 3 hours prior to show start | 2 hours post performance and are expected to deliver service of a superior standard to the norm – with 1 waiter allocated per 4 guests (Michelin Star standards), it would be amiss on our side not to express the expectation of a merci beaucoup that does not just reflect their bar service.
You are more than welcome to tip or not tip any value that you feel is deserving – the tips are shared amongst the entire team.
Our incredible staff will welcome any and all contributions – none are too ‘small’!
