“In the Footsteps of Marco Polo” is a mesmerising two-and-a-half-hour dining show that narrates the adventures of Le Petit Chef as he retraces the legendary explorer Marco Polo’s route. Through state-of-the-art 3D projection mapping, guests are transported across the diverse landscapes and rich cultures that Marco Polo encountered. Each of the six meticulously crafted courses corresponds to a different region, offering a multisensory feast that engages sight, sound, and taste.
To elevate the experience even further, a signature wine pairing by Spier 1692 Wines is also available.

- Lunch (13:30 to 17:00) – Arrivals from 12:30
- Children-friendly lunch: Ages 8-12 standard pricing applies to all seats
Diners are requested to arrive 30 minutes prior to the show’s start time in order to complete check-in protocols. Doors open 45 minutes prior to start.
Guests are to be seated 15 minutes before the show starts. No late arrivals will be allowed to enter the show.

✍️ Q: Where did you first learn to cook, Le Petit Chef?
💬 A: Now, you’re taking me back, mon ami! 🤩 I would say my love and passion for cooking came from my sweet granny, who formed the very foundation of who I am today. But I’m constantly learning and mastering new recipes and skills – it’s a never-ending journey of culinary exploration!
✍️ Q: Sorry if this is a personal question, but exactly how tall are you?
💬 A: What a strange question to ask, is it not obvious? 🤨 I am a MASSIVE 6cm tall, of course! Haha, you must have thought I was much smaller, non?
✍️ Q: Where were you born, Le Petit Chef?
💬 A: France, of course! Please, no more silly questions. 😒
✍️ Q: To which exotic destinations have you travelled?
💬 A: Ah, now we’re talking about something I truly enjoy! 😍 I have explored destinations far and wide across all eras of time, including the ancient Aztec empire, the savoury spices of India, the succulent seafood of the Mediterranean, and the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. And of course, my favourite – right here in sunny South Africa! 🌍 There are too many places to mention, but you can rest assured that I’ve been there and brought back the very best for you, mes amis.

💬 A: Of course, I do! What kind of silly question is that? 😏 But, comme d’habitude, I always keep my plans a secret. 🤫 What I will tell you is… Haha, you thought I was going to spill the beans! Never. 😉
