‘How to Become the World’s Greatest Chef’ is Le Petit Chef’s latest offering – and it’s the biggest showstopper yet.

Join the world’s smallest chef for a six-course gourmet experience where the pocket-sized culinary artist will explain the ins and outs of the kitchen and what it takes to make it ‘BIG’.

What is DinnerTimeStories?

DinnerTimeStoriesSA with Le Petit Chef Southern Africa is an internationally acclaimed gastronomic experience. Tabletop projection, props, music and décor shift on the instant to transport diners to new eras and locations, from the comfort of their seats.

‘Dinner and a show’ doesn’t quite encapsulate the multisensory magic that this six-course ‘fun-dining’ experience offers.

From Projector to Plate - Learn From The best!

About The Show

Expect 3D tabletop projections with an ever-changing array of decorations, props and more, with a brand-new menu designed to delight diners for over 3 1/2  hours of fun-dining and entertainment. The multisensory spectacle lures you into the world of Le Petit Chef as he dances across your plate, unpacking his journey to becoming the World’s Greatest Chef, bringing you with him to learn along the way.

Discover the history of staple ingredients, dating back to the ancient Aztec empire and follow the journey of humble garden vegetables, even as they take a turn for the sinister…

Then, it’s time to wield your paintbrush and gain insight into how visual art has inspired the art of plating food, time and time again. From Van Gogh to Picasso, follow the tiny Frenchman as he walks you through a history of artistic inspiration, failure, and reinvention.

Then, embrace some nostalgia as Le Petit Chef relives his childhood memories and how his granny formed the foundation of who he is today.

Finally, Le Petit Chef unpacks key secrets and techniques for becoming the World’s Greatest Chef.

If you pay close attention, perhaps you may even graduate from his prestigious culinary academy!

Feast your eyes and tastebuds as your favourite gastronomic genius traipses across, down and around your place setting for the multisensory magic that is any Le Petit Chef show. Learn from the master himself as he cooks for you, right on your plate. As always, the show must be seen, heard, and, of course, tasted to be believed.

With Le Petit Chef, you don’t just watch the show; you’re part of it.

So eat, drink, be merry and let’s get your hands dirty by booking your tickets today!

Dietary Requirements

Le Petit Chef’s menu is never revealed – it accommodates vegetarians and pescatarians with or without seafood options.

  • The menu contains no pork, no beef and/or alcohol and is Halaal (from a Halaal Butcher with certification) / Kosher friendly, but not wrapped certified – unfortunately, due to the nature of the show and the props used this is impossible to achieve.
  • The only nuts will be in the dessert presentation – all of which we can arrange to have removed.
  • The portions for each act of the show are plated up in specific props that allow for a guest to pick and choose.
  • We will be able to accommodate a vegan, as well as gluten and/or lactose free diet.
  • If you do not wish to eat a specific aspect of the meal it can be left aside without it spoiling your dining experience in any way.
  • We serve 6/7 courses. Come hungry, the food is plentiful and there will be NO need to get a takeaway on the way home.

All dietary requirements are dealt with when you check-in on the day of the show.
